FAQ

Common questions

Does everyone really get it at the same time?

You pick one instant and the moment goes out to everyone on the list in the same send, at that instant. There is no drip and no queue you have to babysit. Email and text carriers add their own delivery time on top, so arrival is normal message speed rather than a stopwatch.

Do the people I send to need an account?

No. They get the moment as a normal email or text with a link, and they open it in their browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create. You do need a free Cronote account to send, because the moment has to be scheduled somewhere and tied to you.

What is the one tap for?

After the moment, each person sees a single light choice, like loved it or send one back. It takes one tap and it is optional. You get told when someone reacts, and nothing waits on anyone who does not.

What happens if someone never opens it?

Nothing stalls. A moment is not a group activity that needs a quorum, so one slow person never holds up anyone else and never blocks you. Their link stays good whenever they get to it.

Can I add a photo?

Yes. Add your own picture, or let Cronote make a background for you. The picture rides along in the email and on the page they open.

How many people can I send one moment to?

A moment goes to at least two people, and there is no small ceiling above that. Two to ten is the usual shape: the people who would each get their own message anyway.

Is this just a group text?

No. Nobody sees the other recipients and nobody gets pulled into a thread. Each person gets the moment privately, on their own channel, as if you had written to them alone.
