Made for the big screen

The room watches. Every phone plays.

  • Open the game on a TV or laptop and the screen turns into the quiz: the question, the answers, and how many have answered.
  • The code and QR code stay on screen, so anyone who walks in late can still join.
  • The host plays too, and can hide their own pick from the room.
  • Final scores rank everyone by name. Play again starts a new round with a new code.
Every week

Make it a standing quiz night.

Cronote started as a reminder app, and it still is one. Customize any quiz, choose who plays and when, and Cronote reminds everyone when it is time to play. Friday trivia keeps happening without a group chat to chase.

Questions

Good to know

Do players need an app or an account?

No. Players join from any phone browser with the game code and a nickname. Only the host signs up, and it is free.

How many people can play?

Up to 30 players in one room.

What do we need?

A screen everyone can see, like a TV, laptop or tablet, and a phone for each player. The host can also play from a phone.

Are the questions the same every time?

No. Every game gets new questions on the quiz's topics, each one checked with a web search.

Does it cost anything?

No. Hosting and playing a quiz are free.

Is it like Kahoot?

It works the way many people know from Kahoot: a code on the big screen and answers on phones. Cronote quizzes come ready to play with new questions every game, and you can make one a weekly game night with reminders.

Host free in your browser. Your friends only need the code.
